Dr. Mahendra Kale, has extensive experience in various sub-specialties of orthopedics. Minimal invasive trauma surgery is his primary area of expertise, and he has gained considerable proficiency in procedures such as hip replacement surgeries, spine surgeries, and pediatric orthopedics. He is also renowned for his mastery in minimal invasive acetabulum and pelvis fixation.

One of his notable contributions to the field is the development of the Flask Technique for decoring  and bone grafting in the treatment of Avascular Necrosis (AVN) of the femoral head. This innovative, minimally invasive technique has benefited many patients and has become widely adopted by orthopedic surgeons for treating AVN.
