GARBHA SANSKAR
USES :

PANCHAKARMA
Panchakarma refers to five types of body purification therapies. These treatments are performed after carefully considering the disease, an individual’s body constitution (Prakriti), and the season.
Just as we service our vehicle every three months, what about this precious human body? It also needs regular servicing and repair. Panchakarma helps fulfill this need.

SNEHANA (OLEATION THERAPY)
Snehana is a full-body oil massage therapy, especially beneficial for all Vata-related disorders.

- Performed prior to all Panchakarma therapies
- Strengthens and nourishes the body

SWEDANA (STEAM BATH THERAPY)
After Snehana (oil massage), the person is seated in a specially designed steam chamber where medicated steam is administered. This induces profuse sweating all over the body, helping eliminate toxins from the system.

VAMANA (THERAPEUTIC EMESIS)
Vamana is a Panchakarma therapy in which diseases originating in the stomach are expelled through therapeutic vomiting using medicated decoctions, milk, sugarcane juice, etc. It is mainly used for Kapha-related disorders.

NASYA
Nasya is a therapy in which medicinal substances are administered through the nose for diseases affecting the area above the chest.

SHIRODHARA
Shirodhara is a therapy in which a continuous stream of specific medicinal substances is poured on the forehead at the Ajna Chakra (center of the forehead) to promote mental calmness and also help with abdominal disorders.

RAKTAMOKSHANA
Raktamokshana is a therapy performed to eliminate blood-related disorders, usually by using leeches (Jalaukavacharana) or by withdrawing a small amount of blood through a needle from a vein. It helps remove impure or vitiated blood from the body.
Uses :
- Beneficial in skin disorders and allergies
- Helpful in reducing pain and swelling in joint disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis (Amavata) and other types of arthritis
- Burning sensation in hands and feet
- Skin diseases such as psoriasis, white patches (leukoderma), and hyperpigmentation (dark spots)
- Blood-related disorders
- Nagin (a traditional term used for a specific blood/skin-related condition)

KATIBASTI / MANYABASTI / JANUBASTI / HRUDAYABASTI
These therapies involve retaining warm medicated oil or herbal preparations over specific body parts such as the neck, lower back, knees, or the heart region using a special technique, mainly for joint and musculoskeletal disorders.
Uses :
- Paralysis, neck pain, back pain
- Joint pain, lower back pain, knee pain
- Spondylosis, slipped disc, gaps between vertebrae
- Tingling or numbness in the hands
- Pain and stiffness in the hands
- Heart diseases
- Blockage in blood vessels

NETRA TARPANA
Netra Tarpana is a therapy in which a boundary made from black gram (urad dal) flour is created around the eyes, and medicated ghee is poured and retained within it. This treatment nourishes and strengthens the eyes.
Uses :
- Eye pain and frequent redness
- Excessive watering of the eyes
- To help reduce eye power (improve vision)
- Burning sensation in the eyes
- Squinting (crossed eyes)
- Dryness of the eyes

AGNIKARMA AND VIDHAKARMA
Agnikarma and Viddhakarma are therapeutic procedures that provide immediate relief from pain.
Agnikarma is a treatment in which controlled heat is applied to specific points of the body using a gold rod, without causing a wound.
Viddhakarma is a therapy that helps regulate and improve blood circulation. According to this method, there are 108 vital points on the body that control overall bodily functions, and treatment is performed by stimulating these points.
For Agnikarma and Viddhakarma, it is necessary to undergo the therapy for three consecutive sessions.

UTTAR BASTI
Uttar Basti is a specialized Ayurvedic treatment in which medicated oil or herbal decoctions are administered through the vaginal or urinary route.
Uses :
- Infertility and gynecological disorders
- Irregular menstruation, uterine cleansing
- Blocked fallopian tubes, PCOD (Polycystic Ovarian Disease)
- Hormonal imbalance and uterine fibroids
- White or reddish vaginal discharge

SUVARNAPRASHAN
Suvarnaprashan is administered to children from 1 to 16 years of age, usually on the day of Pushya Nakshatra.
