PTERYGIUM SURGERY

Dacryocystorhinostomy (DCR) is a specialized oculoplasty procedure  . When the tear drainage system is blocked, it causes constant watering of the eyes (epiphora) and infections. DCR creates a new pathway between the eye and nose to restore proper tear drainage. 
It is  for patients with chronic tearing, infection, or swelling near the inner eye.  include relief from watering, reduced infections, and improved eye comfort and hygiene.

Dacryocystectomy (DCT) is a minor oculoplasty procedure to remove an infected or chronically inflamed tear sac. It is done when tear duct blockages cause repeated infections, swelling, or discharge near the inner corner of the eye. DCT is needed for patients who are not suitable for DCR surgery or have persistent infections. The procedure helps prevent recurrence of infection, eliminates swelling, and improves eye hygiene, offering long-term relief and comfort.
